Terms of use

Individual hosted accounts
LibreBudget gives each signed-in user read-only access to their own connected bank data through the MCP clients they explicitly authorize. Authorized clients may also request bounded bank synchronization. LibreBudget does not initiate financial transactions, change bank settings, provide financial advice, or guarantee uninterrupted availability.
The hosted beta is limited to 15 users, including registrations awaiting email verification, and 3 bank connections per user. A connection can contain several bank accounts. Excess new connections detected on return from Powens may be removed with their provider-side data; previous connections are preserved.
Your responsibilities
Only connect accounts you control, protect your login and authorized clients, and comply with your bank and Open Banking provider's terms. You remain responsible for decisions made from data or AI-generated analysis.
Third parties and accuracy
Supabase, IONOS, Powens, banks, and your chosen MCP client are independent services with their own terms. Banking data may be delayed, incomplete, duplicated, or temporarily unavailable.
Availability and liability
The beta is provided as-is and may change or be withdrawn. To the extent permitted by law, contributors are not liable for losses caused by third-party outages, inaccurate data, AI analysis, or insecure client configuration. Mandatory legal rights are unaffected.
